CASE STUDY: House Talent
Event type: Brand Lunch & Learn + Creative Networking
Location: London
Guests: 25 - Talent and brand partners
-
THE BRIEF
House Talent approached me to create a Lunch & Learn experience that brought their talent and brand partners together in a way that felt warm, intentional, and true to their name.
The aim was to move away from a formal, static industry format and instead host something that felt more like being welcomed into a home.
-
THE EXECUTION
The chosen venue had a distinctly home-like feel, centred around an open-plan kitchen and shared living space.
While the Lunch & Learn session took place, I prepared the food quietly in the background so the focus remained on discussion and exchange. Once the session concluded, the space naturally transitioned into a shared meal, with everything already set for service.
-
The Outcome
The final experience felt cohesive and considered — a setting where learning, food and conversation flowed naturally into one another.
House Talent went on to book two further events for 2026 following the success of their first and second events.
the menu
The menu was designed around spring ingredients, with a focus on freshness, colour and energy, food that felt light and exciting rather than heavy or static event food.
Plates were built for grazing and sharing, encouraging people to move, talk and come back for more. Bright vegetables, citrus and herbs ran through the menu, balanced with comforting but unfussy elements.
Dishes included sugar snap peas with burrata, crisp Chinese greens, heirloom tomatoes with red onion, roasted red peppers with crumbled feta, and spring new potatoes with mustard greens. Alongside these sat lemon-herb chicken skewers, mini asparagus and goat’s cheese galettes, whipped ricotta with lemon and thyme, and a lemony asparagus orzo.
Everything was intentionally uncomplicated, allowing flavour and atmosphere to do the work.
client testimonial
“Dasha catered our very first (and second) events for our Digital Talent Agency and we’ve already booked her for two upcoming events in 2026!
The first, a ‘Lunch & Learn’ for 20 people - Talent and Brands, where feedback following the event focused more on the food than the learnings! Dasha took the lead in guiding us on what to feed our hungry group and curated an (incredibly) instagrammable lunch (perfect for a marketing agency!!). We had pretty veg plates, abundant salads, mediterranian skewers and curated bites.
Our second event was slightly different - a creative networking event at Amie Wine Studio, Pimlico where she curated a canape menu complete with copywriting that matched the ethos of our event. Clever, creative & thoughtful - Dasha even made ‘take away’ bags of indulgent chocolate cookies for attendees which was a lovely touch.
I’d recommend booking Dasha. She ensures the process is fun (and stress-free) and ensures the guests are well fed and the hosts are happy.”
