1. Overview

Welcome to My Wife Cooks — a catering and creative hosting service based between London and Lisbon. By browsing or booking through this site, you agree to the terms below. They’re designed to keep things clear and fair for both of us.

2. Bookings & Deposits

To secure a booking date, a 50% deposit is required. This covers initial planning, menu design, and ingredient sourcing. The remaining balance is due 7 days before your event unless otherwise agreed in writing.

If you’re booking a brand activation or larger event, additional terms (such as staffing or venue hire) may apply and will be outlined in your proposal.

3. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date are non-refundable. Earlier cancellations will be refunded minus any costs already incurred.
If you need to reschedule, I’ll always do my best to accommodate your new date, depending on availability.

4. Menus & Ingredient Availability

Menus are seasonal and may shift depending on ingredient availability. Any changes are made thoughtfully and with prior notice to maintain the integrity and flavour of the original menu.

5. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

All dietary requirements or allergies must be communicated when booking. While every effort is made to avoid cross-contamination, all food is prepared in a kitchen that handles allergens. I cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment.

6. Travel & Logistics

Travel costs may apply for events held outside central London or Lisbon. These will always be agreed in advance. Additional charges may apply for late-night events, venue access issues, or extended on-site hours.

7. Photography & Content

I occasionally document events for social media or portfolio use. If you prefer your event not to be photographed or shared, just let me know in advance — your privacy always comes first.

8. Liability

While every care is taken in preparing and serving food, My Wife Cooks is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from the event beyond what is covered by standard insurance.

When you make an enquiry or booking, I collect basic contact details (name, email, phone number) and relevant event information (dates, dietary needs, venue).

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your information is used only for communication and planning your booking. I do not share, sell, or disclose your details to third parties.

This website may use cookies or analytics tools to understand traffic and improve the site experience. No personal information is stored through cookies.
